Dr. Lei Sun

Sun Lei had the BS. and MS. degrees from Nankai University in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and Ph.D degree from the Institute of Optics, University of Rochester in 2010. He joined the GLOBALFOUNDRIES as senior member of technical staff and was assigned in IBM research alliance. He worked on the EUV lithography, 14-5 nm semiconductor process technology nodes from 2010-2018. Sun Lei joined Metalenz in 2019 and worked on metasurface. He is the founder of Shphotonics now. He is an author or coauthor of 67 technical papers and presentations, and inventor or co-inventor of 29 issued US patents. He was selected as senior member of SPIE in 2016.
Xiaoyan Zhou is currently a Researcher in Tianjin University. She obtained her Bachelor and PhD degree from Tianjin University, and has worked as a Postdoctoral Research and Assistant Professor at Niels Bohr Institute (with Prof. Peter Lodahl), University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Her research interests include quantum photonics, micro-/nano-opto-electro-mechanical systems, and hybrid integration on silicon platform. She has published many peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, including Nature Nanotechnology, Science Advances, Optica, Laser and Photonics Reviews, Photonics Research, Photonics Insights, and has a h-index of 16 with a total citation>1000. She is a Young Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Laser Press, a Young Editorial Board Member of Photonics Insights, and a Guest Editor of Photonics; she also serves as a reviewer for internationally renowned optics journals including Light: Science & Applications, ACS Photonics, Optics Letters, IEEE Journal of Lightwave Technology etc.
