Jiangbing DU received B.S. (02-05) and M.S. (05-08) degrees respectively from College of Physics and Institute of Modern Optics, Nankai University, Tianjin, China. He obtained his PhD degree (08-11) in Electronic Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was with Huawei technologies from 2011 to 2012. He joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an assistant professor since 2012, and became an associate professor since 2013.
Dr. DU is a senior member of IEEE and OSA. He is the author or coauthor of over 150 journal and conference papers. He is the principle investigator (PI) of several projects including NSFC major/general/young programs, STCSM major program and so on. He has served as TPC/LOC member in a variety of academic conferences, such as ACP, ICOCN, and so on.
Lin Zhang received the B.S. (Hons.) and M.S. (Hons.) degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 2011. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. Since 2015, he has been a Professor with Tianjin University, China.
His research interests include integrated nanophotonics, on-chip nonlinear ultrafast phenomena, microresonator devices and system applications, chip-scale optical interconnects, sensing, and photonic crystal fibers. He has authored or coauthored more than 220 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, including 20 invited papers, and 2 book chapters. He has five patents issued. His H-index is 30. He is a member of the IEEE Photonics Society and a Senior Member of the Optical Society of America (OSA).
