About IPAT 2025

The 2025 International Conference on Intelligent Photonics and Applied Technology (IPAT 2025) was successfully held online on October 17, 2025. Hosted by the Intelligent Photonics and Applied Technology Laboratory (iPatLab), it was co-organized by Century Chinese Publishing House, Xi'an University of Technology, Tianjin University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Shaanxi University of Science & Technology. Sincere gratitude is extended to the Macao Association for Science, Technology and Cultural Exchange and RDLink for their generous support. It is the collaborative efforts of all parties that have constructed this high-quality academic exchange platform for the global photonics community.

Focusing on the cutting-edge technologies in intelligent photonics, the conference covered hot research directions including metasurface technology and the integration of artificial intelligence with photonics. To facilitate flexible participation of attendees and promote extensive academic exchanges, after careful deliberation by the organizing committee, the conference was held online, ensuring that academic exchanges are free from geographical restrictions. With a compact and rich agenda, the conference featured core sessions such as invited keynote speeches, student oral presentations, and poster exhibitions, establishing a high-quality platform for academic sharing and idea exchange among participants. A number of renowned experts in the field of intelligent photonics from home and abroad were specially invited to deliver keynote speeches at the conference.
